SublteStudy was an iOS application prototype, aimed at helping learning foreign languages while watching TV shows and movie.

The application was displaying on an iPad the show subtitles, synchronized with what currently displayed on the TV (through set-top-boxes API, audio timestamp signature recognitions, manual sync, ...).
The user could then click on any word, to find its definition (in the same language). Then, they could click on any word of the definition itself to wander in the dictionary and learn words.

Optionaly, while browsing the dictionary, the show was paused thanks to the set-top-box API.
