« Au petit bonheur la VOD » was an iOS application to serendipitously browse the movie VOD catalog in an unusual and social way, allowing finding unknown hidden movies in this huge catalog.

The first angle of the app was to allow browsing by jumping from keywords to keywords: after searching a movie related to a first given keyword, you could select a movie, and then click on any word in its info sheet (an actor name, a title part, a topic, a word in the description, ...) to launch a new search, and start again and again.
This way, the users could have a "ride" in the Orange VOD catalog, and find a movie they want to see (the app was using the set-top-box SDK I developped to remote control them, to push the movie on the TV).

And then, any other user launching the app could see those rides, displayed on the homescreen progressively, as if they were currently ridden. Then, these other users could use any part of the paths as their starting point to browse the catalog.
